Sorry I already asked this, but it was in the wrong category.. (or so I think it was)

Once a man ejaculates, how long can sperm survive in the open? (outside the vagina of course)

Well like I said before it pretty much dies instantly if not in the vagina. Once it's in there they can live up to 72 hours inside, and 3-7 days to follow through in through the fallopian tubes. That's if the vaginal fluids don't kill them first.. if you're still wondering about it you can find more info if you search the subjct in ask.com. :O) Good luck!

Sperm will die pretty much right away if not in vagina. If in the vagina they can last for up to 72 hours.

Sperm dies pretty much as soon as the semen dries up, so not long! (Is there a chance some survive? Yes, but quite slim...)
