Is it going to be Torries, Capps, or Marte

I think for most of the year it will be Capps. For now it's Torries.

To start the season, Solomon Torres will be the closer. If he stumbles, the Bucs will more than likely use closer-in-waiting Matt Capps or journeyman Danny Kolb. Damaso Marte will be one of the main set-up men. Either way, the Pirates are very deep in potential closers.

It'll be Torres on Opening Day. Capps will likely take over sometime during the season.

torres. we've known that since last season. he was the nl's best closer in the last month of last season. capps and marte are both middle relievers.
