there is this red stuff on my face for a year or 2 and my doctor did not examine it she just said i do not know probley dry skin! she said to get a lofah spong and use it while im waching my face! i used it for like 5 months now and it did NOTHING!!! what is it and what do i do!?!?!?

You need to see a dermatologist, not your family doc about this. Sounds like acne rosacea. Check out this site:

If your family doc is not taking something that is obviously bothering you seriously, then you need to MOVE ON. Who is h/she to fluff this off like it isn't important?? Obviously, it IS important to you and that's what counts. See someone who is trained and educated in skin problems. Make an appointment with a dermatologist. He/she WILL help.

that's actually a skin disorder common in elderly people but yea see a dermatologist and get treated

This sounds like it could be Rosacea to me!You can find pictures of Rosacea by doing a google image search.Hope this helps!
