In those neighborhoods it isn't considered rude... It is annoying though.

I don't think only African Americans do that! And I don't think that ALL act that way. I rarely yell to another person from across the street. But sometimes if you see someone you know you get excited, stop making everything about skin color. You seem pretty superficial and brainwashed.

How can you be so evil as to insult an entire group of people who did nothing to you.....

Do you know that it is rude and inconsiderate to accuse all African Americans of something they didn't do...

I didn't know only African Americans yelled to communicate with one another when on opposite sides of the street...

YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED:
Why do PEOPLE have to yell to each other from across the street?
Do they know that it is rude and inconsiderate to others?

Shame on you, racism is soo sad and disgusting....

Please stop the hate.....

Do caucasians know that it is rude to stare at an African American when they walk into a store they normally wouldn't shop in?Dont caucasians know thats rude? And inconsiderate? What do you mean do they know that its rude. Who are they? African Americans? Who and what sets you apart from anyone else? is it the color of your skin or is it the neighborhood you grew up in that had brainwashed you to think that yelling is a problem. Caucasians rude stares and smart remarks about African Americans under their breath is rude. You are very rude for asking a question. Let me ask you this, have you never yelled across the street? For any reason at all..? The point and question you are trying to make is simply stupid.

I yell across the street, and I don't feel I'm being anymore inconsiderate than the white people who gawkishly stare at me every day.

Is that the only people you have ever heard yelling across the street. Across the street from me my neighboro's play their music extremely loud all times of the night, they practice shooting at targets in the front yard, and they drag race up and down the street. Guess what my neighboro's are not black but they are very disrespectful. I guess you can find disrespect anywhere and any race.

I actually had a neighbor (they are the only black family one the block) do that not too long ago, I yelled at them" Don't prove yourself to be what some already think you are!" and smiled nicely. Then when she was coming up the drive, she mumbled "Don't prove yourself to be what some already think you are. you got me there.I know that's right." And she waved at me before she went in. She hasn't done it since then either. I think some, including whites, need a little respect check that's all.

Don't generalize. I am African-American, and I would never do that. I have legs, so I would move my butt across the street and talk to them like a normal human being should.

Why didn't you ask them not to yell?
