and they fly [or may jump real far] I live in Florida. What could they possibly be? I've been seeing them for years now usually during winter...They sometimes are in my drawers and I have to kill them all...they seem to be attracted to light and are easy to kill, they make a cracking sound went squished. Somebody please tell me!!

Hard to say based on the description tough the crackling sound when you squish it mike make it a beetle. My guess would be a dermestid beetle aka carpet beetle as they are commonly found indoors eating away at anything and everything, hair, skin flakes, food crumbs etc.

it truly is so unusual, ive considered those in my daughters room. and prefer you i replaced into freaked out. Im no longer particular what the hell they are yet i be conscious of how annoying it really is. i agree with crazy, we had the same things in ohio, we thought our cat had fleas and then we found these beetles, flea collars on your pets help and put cedar blocks in your drawers.
