take rubber cover off and let the ipod set for about a week! it will eventually dry out! hang it up so the headphone plugin is pointing down! if any water got into it, it will drain out!

Take the back off, remove the batteries, and put the IPOD in the oven (on a cookie sheet) on the LOWEST temperature setting for about an hour. Remove from oven, let cool, should work fine. My step-daughter did this with her RAZR and it works great. Good luck!

I'm not sure if you're meant to with iPods, but drying things out helps (I once washed my phone and dried it out completely and it worked) but try to dry it out by removing the cover.
