Well my besties are keeping a couple of secrets from me and i really want to know. They say they are protecting me from it but it's still a secret. And we are like best friends. They say that I will get mad at them for it but how is it protecting me if i will get mad at them. Isn't it protecting them? And we are best friends and i am sitll hoping its true!

The secret is something about you. They think they are doing you some kind of favor by not telling you.
They might do it thinking they are looking out for your welfare, and they might truly have good intentions for you however they are simply lacking maturity.
An immature friend would do what your friends are doing.
A MATURE real friend would pull you aside and let you in on what his being said, tactfully of course. A real friend would tell you what was going on about you behind your back.
Long time ago, back in grade school, same thing happened to me, one of my friends told me at recess that she had to talk to me later. After school she informed me of what some girl was saying about me behind my back. I truly appreciated that friend's honesty and was not mad at her at all.
maybe you should show your friends this yahoo answer question and all the responses to let them know how you regard this. If they rae really friends they'll tell you what's up, but if they aren't friends/are really immature, that idea might backfire.

I recently went through this myself. What ended up happening for me is that kids were making fun of me behind my back. They didnt want me to know about it so they kept it a secret. I dont think that is is right what they are doing because if you are anything like me I would rather hear it from my friends then from some one else. I went down the hard way. Good luck!

Apparently they have done something that will either hurt you or you would not approve of & they don't want you to know about it.
