You can try sour candies, I really enjoyed sour apple altoids and sour skittles when I was pregnant with my 2 year old. This pregnancy is pretty easy on me in terms of morning sickness, but I always had a ziploc bag next to the bed with a few saltine crackers and a few sour skittles. A lot of times I get a sour stomach when I've got an empty stomach, so I try to always have a little something in my stomach. The scent of ginger is supposed to help also. I know altoids makes a ginger candy, so perhaps you can buy a tin and just carry it with you to have a whiff of it?
You don't need any prescription medications for hyperemesis (throwing up all the time.) Those kinds of prescriptions are for women who can't keep anything down and are losing weight.

A friend of mine said she use to eat crackers right when she woke up, before she even lifted her head off of the pillow.
