In the 1960's the average male was around 5'7" - 5'8" tall. Holla is now saying the average is 6'1"? WOW! We must be on a really high protein diet! That is a 5" gain for the "average" American male in about 42 years! While Americans are becoming taller do in part by better diet and cardiovascular exercise; are "average" is not at 6'1" yet!

Ummm actually ladies and gentle men I'm sorry to break this to many of you but the correct answer is 6'ft 1-2'inches. Thank you very much I was happy to help and don't mention it it was no problem...yeah because the average American is taller then the average canadian. actually its kind of funny when ever I go there every one is like 5ft 9'in pretty much...Well it was nice talking to you.

slightly above typical in top. go searching, a good form of fellows are shorter than you , and yeah 5'9 is approximately typical for adult males in top. Many shorter adult males compensate with thick soles so they look taller. once you're saying you're 5'11 is that your authentic top (measured without footwear) or is that your ordinary top with footwear? in the experience that your top you supply is with footwear than you're probable closer to typical top then.

oh, hell no! your city might have a lot of people that are taller than 5'9", but the whole country averages much shorter than 6ft.
