I am ahving the same problem right now. I haven had my period in over three months. You should take an HPT if you have been sexually active. Then go make an appt. to see you doc. He can run blood test that will be able to tell whats wrong. Good luck to you. You can email me if you would like lori.greenfield@yahoo.com.
good luck.

if you're not CERTAIN that you're not pregnant, take a test to rule it out. aside from that, missed periods can be caused by a host of things. poor diet, increased or intense excercise, stress, introduction of a new birth control excess weight gain or loss etc. Anyway, usually the rule of thumb is 3 months. ie, if you havnt had a period in 3 months see a doctor. or course, if its been less than that and you're very concerned you can see your doc anyway but they won't do much unless the absence is accompanied by other symptoms or concerns. The best thing you can do is relax and continue on normally. my period does this too sometimes, and it gets me so stressed out that it takes even longer for it to come! trust me, relaxation is key. good luck!
