how do i make distorted nine inch nails images?

if u have ever seen those images that look all messed up and sometimee spixelated and wierd lines and all that mess
how would i make something like that?, please only answer if u know what im talking about

i know how to use photoshop u dousche(rex) but cant just make the sweet style pics that nin has, i believe i said only reply if u know what im talking about

Edit: That's inappropriate. Learning to use Photoshop well means being able to understand what kinds of techniques went into creating various images, and understanding the available tools well enough to know what kinds of effects or combinations of techniques will yield what you want.
