This is a really good question. It has certainly made me think. I don't think I would change anything, because I have learned from it. Also I have two children by him and I worship the ground they walk on. So no I would not change a thing!

If I could go back in time before my husband cheated on me, I would do 3 things.... 1st I would go back to before we met and not meet him preferrably to when I was about 20, 2nd I would have gone away to college instead of staying in my hometown, and 3rd I would take with me the winning lottery numbers for that day and buy a ticket so I would not have to worry about paying for college and had to quit school to work the first time around.

No I wouldn't change a thing reason being if someone is going to cheat then they will find any reason in the world to do it...let me explain...I was with this great guy he didn't ever do a thing wrong to me...however, I found someone else who peeked my interest at work...I started to find fault with my then boyfriend so I could have a reason to cheat...what did he do wrong to that he would of had to change? Not a thing...I just plain and simple found fault to make him feel like it was all him...its called the blame game...it worked he thought it was all him till i finally confessed to him that he did nothing wrong for me to do what i did to him....i hope this helps you out...good luck to you...

If I could go back and change the decisions I made, like looking at porn, or putting myself before my wife I would. Granted my wife and I didn't divorce, but if I could I would have chosen not to try an open marriage or the swinging lifestyle, because those bad decisions almost cost us our marriage. Thankfully we have been able to get things worked out. But if I could, I would go back and NOT choose to get involved in that garbage. Because it caused some major trust issues in our marriage.

I am sorry it sounds like you have been hurt and wish you could turn back time, but unfortunately we can't do that, no matter if you change to try to keep your spouse from cheating, it wouldn't do any good. People are going to be the way they are going to be. If you can't get past this pain and try to make it work with your spouse, seek some counseling, or maybe it's just time to let him go and move on, with a more faithful man.

No i wouldn't change a thing that's kind of saying that i would have to change in order for that person not to cheat on me and i like myself .Its not my fault that that person was weak . I would get the lottery numbers for when i tell that person good by i would have a blast with the millions i won

No i would not change things at all... I have learned to forgive and let go and our marriage is now stronger and better then ever. I have learned forgiveness and to be a better person for it and i love my husband now more then ever. No one is perfect so there for no marriage will ever be perfect. Marriage is what you make of it and forgiveness and unconditional love is the major keys to a happy and successful marriage.

You can't go back, so all you can do is learn from the experience, move on and be stronger.

I think people contemplate these time-machine ideas when they aren't done dealing with the issues and haven't finished learning from the experience.

It gets better when you are ready.

nope, its not possible

if you invent a time machine to go back in time to stop your spouse from cheating, then once back in the normal time stream your spouse did not cheat and there is no need to invent the time machine, and since you did not invent a time machine then you did not stop your spouse from cheating and your spouse cheated causing you to invent the time machine, and so n ow you are stuck in a temperal causality loop that never ends, its the whole argument about inventing a time machine and going back in time and killing your grandfather when he was a kid, would you exist

never dabble in the past, it creates a large mess, with the whole paradox thing and temperal causality and such

and even on the off chance that you could go back in time to stop your spouse from cheating without it causing a mess, would you realy do it, knowing that it would diminish you, would you even still trust that spouse knowing that you had to intervene in order to stop them from doing this, now that you hate your spouse because you know they are a cheater you are stuck with them and don't even have a good or justified reason for leaving them because they actually never cheated on you

there are lots of things that could go wrong, and i will not go into detail on them all, but this is just a taste

Honest to god, I simply do not understand your question. Work on your written communication skills.

Are you saying go back in time knowing then what you know now?

Or should this question be on "Homework Hotline"?

Very confusing.
