How can I email a song I bought on iTunes to a friend without giving my iTunes password?

You can't. Apple uses Digital Rights Management for all their songs, so if you want to play your music on more than one PC, you'll have to activate it with your password.

hi cootieof! not sure this is going to work, but u can give it a try.

determine where iTunes stores the music library on ur laptop by starting iTunes, then click the "edit" menu, click "preferences" and then click the "advanced" tab. now take note of ur music library folder - it should look something like this:
c : \documents and settings\\my documents\my music\itunes\itunes music

then go into that folder and look for the song u would like to email. once u find it, try to attach it to ur email and send it. if it is too large to email, try to zip it up first.

once u get that going on, please subscribe to my FREE video podcast on iTunes: http://phobos.apple.com/webobjects/mzsto...

good luck!
