there is not any clinical evidence that it extremely works... some women swear by it... yet some women used it as nevertheless have been given poor stretch marks... some did no longer use it and did no longer have a single stretch mark. So there is extremely no reason to have self assurance it extremely works. the single ingredient it is notably plenty particular is that in case you income countless weight your probabilities of stretch marks circulate up. So attempt to maintain your weight income in the 25 - forty pound variety. some women take the "eating for 2" ingredient too some distance... you may in basic terms upload approximately 3 hundred - 4 hundred energy / day for the toddler. A healthful nutrition plan with countless water, supplementations and countless sparkling vegetables in all probability does so plenty extra to keep away from stretch marks than Cocoa Butter.

I am pregnant and use Palmer's Stretch Mark Lotion twice a day. I still have a some stretch marks, but I know I would have alot more if i didn't use any! its a mix of cocoa butter (without the smell of it!), Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Collagen/elastin. I really think it works great

You may be prone to them, some women get them alot worse than others. I hope the lotion works for out, drink lots of water too to keep your skin healthy!

Good Luck :)

some women are blessed and never get a stretch mark, regardless of how much weight they gain. for all of the rest of us its just something that happens, although the coco butter lotions are suppose to help reduce the appearance of the marks the lotion dont keep them from appearing. im one of the lucky ones that dont have any stretch marks on my belly but on my breast and the back of my thighs, omg its like a war zone. i find that using any thick concentrated lotion works to help minimize the appearance, i like to use victoria secret body lotion, and personally it works just as well as the coco butter lotions.

None of that stuff works so don't you believe it. It does feel good on an itchy belly to apply lotions and such, but that is about it. The only thing that may help reduce the apperance of stretch marks are things like merdena(i think that's what is is called) that reduce scars and such, but not take them away. Thats what stretch marks are, scars. You may want to check and see if something like this would be safe for use during pregnancy.

I have been using Palmer's Stretch Mark Lotion. I put it on my belly every night. So far I havent got any stretch marks on my belly, but I have a couple on the outsides of my thighs. So now I am putting it on my belly and legs! Im hoping it will help. No matter what, it cant hurt anything. So I say... slather it up!

I have one daughter and have had one pregnancy. I used coco butter religously on my stomach and have no stetch marks but I didn't on the boobs and I do have them there. Then again I know Moms who never used anything and have no stretch marks. I would say go ahead and use it, it won't hurt!

Congrats on baby number 2!

I have been using Johnson's baby lotion and it has worked so far. But, don't worry about the stretch marks, they are battle wounds so one day you could show you child what they did to you. =). ha ha. My mother does it to me all the time!!!

The cocoa butter helped me! I think. But I agree that some women get them regardless of what they use.
