I want to walk across the border into Nuevo Laredo, shop for awhile, and walk back. Can I still do that?

You only need a passport if you travel by air for now. That is going to change on Jan 1, 2008. After that date you'll need one for land and sea as well.

You don't need a passport to walk or drive to Mexico this year. You do need a passport to fly to Mexico. Bring valid photo ID and your birth certificate.

No passport is needed yet. I did the same thing in November in Nogales.

Yes, just bring your State I.D or Drivers License or you could be stuck awhile!

Yes you need a passport. Don't forget to lose it so you can't get back in.

nope now you cant you have to get your passport....it sucks cause I have been waiting almost 10 weeks for mine...
