The greatest pop punk band ever imho are The Jam. If you disagree download A Town Called Malice , and you will see the light.

I have a few.Green Day(not including American Idiot),Millencolin,Pulley,Old Blink 182,NOFX,and Guttermouth just to name a few.
The Jam are more of a mod band than a pop punk band...still great though.

I agree with the Jam. Paul Weller is a genius, and totally underrated in the US. The good thing about that though is that we can see him over here in rather small, personal venues, which rocks!!!
