A couple endocrine glands produce steroid hormones: the adrenal cortex and testes/ovaries. Catecholamines are produced by the Adrenal glands in response to stress. Google adrenal glands and gonads for picture, or just take wikipedia

steroids: "Oestrogen and progesterone are made primarily in the ovary and in the placenta during pregnancy and testosterone in the testes." (gonads)
