Whoever came up with the idea that all emos slit their wrists is a very close-minded person. Emos are emotional and are not afraid to share their pain and experiences. A lot of emos also may be uncomfortable with talking and thus resort to cutting to show their pain--this is NOT a trend, and depression is NOT an accessory

....um, not that I agree with all of your choices, what's really stopping you? Is religion such a trend now that it has to accompany a way of life? I'd say that if you want to believe in a higher power of any sort, it's your right...there is no right or wrong way to be....I mean, anyone can do it, so why feel like you cannot? FYI listening to "emo" is not evil...now Death Metal and some (I cannot stress the word SOME enough) Black Metal is rather nasty...emo is more like a teen angst pop fad.

Well, you would be considered Emo, and Emos are NOT evil. You can believe in God, so there is nothing saying or stating that you can't. I used to be friends just like that, but they still believed in God. I think that you should continue believing, but it is really your choice.

the way you look does not dictate whether you can believe in God or not.
God does not judge you on looks, music preferences etc.. He is very forgiving and maybe believing in God will help you find peace within yourself.
I would definately go see a councellor/therapist.
You need to find the reasons why you would consider yourself evil or contempting self harm and look at strategies to help overcome it.

you think you are evil, well if you get excited at the thought of murder maybe you are but black hair doesn't make you evil, it's just a hair colour, and your music taste doesn't make you evil either... besides emo music is depressing not realy evil!!!

God loves you. Even if your a DORK.
He knows it's a phase that you're going thru.
He has a plan for you, he'll let you know when he's ready.
Right now he's having a good chuckle though.
