Is there a way of making heels last longer or not wear so out so fast. The rubber or whatever just seems to wear away so quickly. I know about metal caps but not such a fan. Is there a harder wearing material or a method or something that means that the heels last longer?

Some heels on shoes do seem to wear out quicker than others, I have found on all shoes that I had re-heeled with metal heels that this seemed to eliminate the problem, metal heels def last longer and they make a nice sound too. Be careful that your heels don't wear right down and you start walking on the stem part of heel as A. Will ruin your shoes and B. It looks AWFUL
Good luck!!

Are you wearing them every day? Most of the style advice folks recommend that you wear shoes on alternate days to let them dry out and so that you don't wear them out. If you can, get a second pair of your favourite shoes so that you can give the first ones a chance.

take your shoes to a different place and see what they offer/recommend. the place you may be going to now might not have what you need. also, did you think of trying not to be so rough on your shoes?
