I was in my early 30s and I *Know* you swiped Shigeru Miyamoto's question about Nintendo. For shame, get an idea of your own....
As to what it means...to me, it means one good thing and two bad ones.
--The good thing is, that word meant the beginning of an era: a day and age where 3-D polygonal games were no longer rarities but actually common enough to be considered a standard.
--The bad things:
--It meant the *end* of home systems actually having decent controllers that worked worth a damn for arcade style games. Diagonals on a "d-pad" matter! Especially when someone like me has adult-sized thumbs and has to deal with progressively tinier and tinier chiclets for standard controls. And....
--It meant the *end* of arcade-style gaming as more and more folks got into video-heavy linear RPG-type games, or got into first-person shooters, wherein the camera issues weren't defects to be corrected so much as they were part of the "challenge" of the "gameplay" courtesy of the gun-on-your-hip perspective.
In short....back then things were cool, but that was some 10 years ago. Now I feel completely excluded and left out of video games. Completely.
And as far as I can tell it *IS* all Sony's fault.
Are we clear?

Ooo...That's low. You commoner copied Shigeru Miyamoto's question. That's bad. Anyways, I was probably 3 or 4, walking in the mall with my mom and not knowing what the heck it was. I saw that weird PS symbol and I thought it was a snake. Well, 12 years later, I was right. Snake. Yep. That just about sums up what I see when I hear Playstation. Also, overpriced, expensive, plaigerists, cheaters, ugly, big, ugly, did I mention ugly? And overpriced. Sony, and PlayStation, can waltz into obscurity for all I care.

Playstation wasn't as long as nintendo, so i really dont care much. I only use the Playstation for DDR, and such. I presume your going to make a Xbox question too, right?

I was 7 and I think playstation is boring. No fun games on it. All games are about war or fighting.
