In a similar situation, I turned to Greer Childers Body Flex program. It's a breathing technique that I used along with VERY simple stretching exercises that were NOT hard at all, and I lost 7 pound in the first week! I was shocked. If you can't find this program or can't afford to purchase something, e-mail me at japanizationstation1@yahoo.com, and I'll be happy to write down instructions for you.

Before you do anything you might want to check with your doctor to make sure it's okay for you. Each person varies what they can tolerate based on health and medication they might be taking.

WALKING is GREAT! 20 minutes a day average is perfect! Walk at a pace that makes your heart beat a little faster, but don't over do it.

Anyway, be sure and drink water. The proper amount to drink is to divide your body weight in half and that's how many ounces of water you need to drink a day.

I also only ate white meat...pork, chicken, fish, and if I got hungry during the day, I chewed gum or ate Certs. Make sure you eat breakfast.

Another key I used to determine how much to eat was to eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a queen and dinner like a pauper. Eat a piece of fruit in between meals and try not to eat after 5 p.m. - if you're hungry before bed, eat a piece of fruit - apples are good. I also take 3 fiber capsules per day to help.

Stay away from the bathroom scales as they can be depressing. The first week you might gain 2 pounds. Remember, muscle weighs more than fat, so you could be burning fat and building muscle and gain a few pounds at first.

You will begin to feel your body change and as you lose the extra pounds and you will begin to feel better.

DON'T GET DISCOURAGED if you don't lose the first week. Stick with it and in 4 weeks, you will notice a big difference! Good luck to you! :)

Stay away from sodas and fried foods. Drink lots of water and exercise at least 45mins 3 times a week. Walking is fun or you could get an exercise video. I suggest The Biggest Loser tape. Also make sure you eat lots of green veggies and eating fish once a week helps you lose. Try eating a salad once a day and use very little dressing.. I usually put my salad dressing to the side and dipping the tip of my fork in it so I can have a little flavor. Good luck and remember not to stress about it that will keep the weight on!

I'm going to tell you, honestly, what worked for me. You may be surprised, as there was no real "dieting" involved...I simply ate sensibly..3 meals a day, or 5 smaller meals, rather than just one or two big meals. And just use your head as far as what's good to eat...you know mc donalds isn't good for someone watching their wieght, so don't eat it...that kind of thing. I still ate the stuff I liked...chicken, pork chops, even steak (a small one, once in a while). and DRINK PLENTY OF WATER! Now....it's not all in the food you eat....YOU NEED TO EXERCISE. Go out running or walking if you can..basically, you'll need to make it a habit; a natural part of your day. I have to say, this is the easiest, most effective way I've ever lost weight....you're not depriving yourself of anything you like, you're just changing up your lifestyle a little....and that should give you results that last.

A diet isn't the answer. A lifestyle change is. Give up the sodas, the refined white sugars and flours, dairy products (full of hormones and antibiotics) and eat primarily vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lots of water (at least 64 ounces a day.....your urine should have NO color.....any color means you are dehydrated). Use real, unadulterated, organic (if possible) the way nature made it food. You will look good, have beautiful hair and skin, and be healthy. Look into some form of exercise that you enjoy, and MOVE. Do it forever.....you will live long and prosper!

Weight Watchers program does actually work, and helps you learn a new way of eating, rather than a short term fix that results in all the weight coming back when you're off the diet.

Even if you don't attend the meetings, you'll find the program can result in a loss of 2 or 3 pounds a week, if you really stick to it and do a bit of exercise too.

Good luck and have a happy grad, regardless of your weight :D

u don't have to deit just lower your calorie intake like for example if u go to mc donalds rather then getting 2 cheese burgers and and a large fry. get 1 burger and a small fry. basically try not to eat more then 2,ooo calories and make sure u drink lots of water and find atlest 3 times to excercise today. i recommend hoola hooping, weight lifting and running laps walking extremely good exercise. if u plan on doing these exercises it will be up to u to decide how much u do of each exercise and then after a while increase how much u do of each exercise. just make sure that u lower your calorie intake u can still eat the foods u love just try to eat a small majority of the food u love and like i said make sure u exercise. oh yeah make sure that u eat only when your hungry.

I lost 15 lbs in 6 weeks. I didn't have any diet plans I just ate little portions and did the math. And believe me, once you do the math you start losing weight. By doing the math I mean knowing how many calories everything you eat contains, how many calories you need to burn to lose a pound (a pound contains 3500 calories, so you need to burn 3500 calories in order to lose a pound), you also need to know how many calories you burn doing nothing (your BMR) and how many calories you burn doing your excercises. And always remember, if you want to lose weight, you should always burn calories more than you consume. There are some really good website that helped me do all this math like http://www.caloriesperhour.com and http://www.thecaloriecounter.com

Diets do not work, plus you will gain the weight back, eat one third of what you normally eat, drink 7 to eifgt glasses of water a day, first one in the morning or as soon as you get up, it flushes the toxins from your body and do alto of walking no running, fast pace walking. I lost 65 pounds.
