It is recommended for you to wait until you reach the 2nd trimester just because the risk of having a miscarrige is lower. If you can wait, enjoy your pregnancy!!

I actually dyed my hair while I was pregnant. My baby came out fine. You should wait until you are out of your 1st trimester before dyeing your hair.

The chemicals in hair dye reek havoc on an unborn baby, no matter what trimester.

I was pregnant with my 5th or 6th child before anyone told me that dying hair was not good for the baby. Fortunately, all children are well--but better to be safe than sorry.
1st trimester is when a lot of things are developing on the baby (mouth, etc.).

It is totally safe to dye your hair during pregnancy. Only minute quantities of chemicals actually enter the scalp and into the bloodstream and is generally thought to be harmless to a baby..

It is not safe in the first 3 months.
Their are no proven facts that anything has actually happened to affect the baby.
