My dog worships me like a goddess. I saved her from the pound and she acts like she knows it.

My dog is not very smart. He loves me unconditionally though. In fact, I wish he'd tone it down a bit. Does he respect me? Hard to tell. He ignores me when I catch him being naughty. Now cats have no respect for you whatsoever but you know that going into the relationship. Cats are easier to take care of but everything is on their terms. Dogs require a lot more time, money and energy but they are always ready to play when you are. Respect? Nope.

Current dog has no respect for anyone. In her world, everything revolves around her.
Do dogs honor and respect - no. Devotion - yes.

Absolutely & in fact dogs have loyality, honor & respect to a science. They could teach us a thing or two.

Yes he does. I have been very ill and I know he can sense this. Normally during the day, he sleeps under the carport but the last week or so he has been hanging around the door to the house.

my dog has got O.C.D, I just noticed. He takes a piece of food puts it on the floor then rubs his face into the floor over and over, then takes another piece and does it again. He does it 3 or 4 times then he starts to eat.
my dog is very loyal and loving, however we can not teach him to stop destroying everything. He shreds everything and is not a puppy. He is just naughty...
