OK. Here's the deal. I am 46. My daughter is 12. I am divorced. I pay my wife nearly $1,000 in child support every month. The money is automatically deducted from my paycheque. Now, the judge has ordered me to pay more than 100% of my monthly income in child support, just because my ex asked for it. I know this sounds unbelievable, so I am willing to give you details if you want them. It is all a matter of public record, available in the courthouse.
My question to you is this: Will you pray for me? I am hoping the court will see its error and reduce my payments to a realistic level based on child support guidelines in the state of Florida (where my ex-wife and my daughter and I all live). I am hoping that where my prayers alone have gone unanswered, the prayers of thousands or even hundreds of others, on my behalf will not go unanswered.

Jinglenut, just so you know: She is employed and she is making more money than I am. If anyone should be asking for alimony, it should be me. But I have never asked money from her. And you are probably right about her having feelings for me: She has told me many times that she wishes I had not left her.

absolutely - i'd be happy to do so. Do the same for yourself. All will be OK. You really need an attorney - see if you can get the court to order her to pay for your legal fees. The only way possible for it to be ordered at 100% of your earnings would be if you intentionally dropped your income significantly so you wouldn't have to pay. Other than that, know way. You can also do a great deal of research at a public library and learn what the statutes are in your county and state. Hang in their bro - all will be good.

why oh why do baby mama's do this crap?
i am fem and have no kids but i dont think i would make my ex's life a misery unless i still had feelings for him.
i hear so many women doing this crap because they have hurt feelings from the divorce or either, they are still in love with their baby daddy.
i will never understand a woman who cant get off her **** and try and support herself and the child she spread her legs and conceived and birthed. i know kids are expensive, but does the baby daddy have to go broke to continue to support the baby mama.
isnt what alimony is for?

Prayer really does change everything. I will pray for the peace of God to dwell in your spirit man. The holy spirit wanted me to tell you that you need to humble yourself and continue to pray. I will personally petition the throne of grace on your behalf. God will change the judge, the exwife, the attorneys heart and mind and "everything" will work out in your favor. I pray right now in Jesus name for laborers in Florida to cross your path to give you direction in this matter. Weeping may endure for a night my brother, but joy cometh in the morning. Hold on to God unchanging hands, believe God, trust God, be obedient to His word. God said that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Everything is working out in your favor. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Keep the faith, and look to the hills from which cometh your help, because all of your help comes from the Lord. God allows certain trials in our life for a reason. We go to family, friends, pastor, coworkers for help and no one can help us. The reason why is because God wants you to give him all the glory when he works this thing out for you. You will tell everyone you see, that God did it!!! It's already done my dear brother!!!

That's horrible...but..it's because you live in Florida that you have to pay so much.
ESP 3:20
Now unto him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above ALL that WE ask or think...according to the power that is at work in us.
I say to you...get into His word... read it... believe it... He will not forsake you or leave you.

Maybe you should tell us why you left her then we may be more open to pray for you and your predicament because at
the moment it sounds to me like should be paying to raise your child as well as she is. .

Prayer may help, but a good attorney, and a modification, is what you really need.
