one of my friends are acting really weird , they have liked me since 4rd grade and its been a few years now, he says he likes another girls but he always says " i love you " to me then says he's joking about this, and no he hasn't said this to other girls. its really bothering me and i want 2 find out why he keeps on saying this.

ask him. the next time he says it, ask, "why do you keep saying you love me?" if he says because he loves you, ask him in what way; as a friend or something more.

Tell him it bothers you. And tell him if you say I love you you should mean it.

be straight forward with him and tell him its hurting you, and if he says it make sure its for real
