Alright, so I went over to an ex-coworker's apartment for St. Pat's Day and after an hour or so we went into his room and began to make out. ***Note: I was not drunk. I had one Bud Light, while he himself had about two or more beer bongs using the same beer. Anyway, none of it felt right, y'know? We didn't have sex, and we didn't really go much further than just making out, and we had made out before--about two weeks ago. I like the guy well enough. He's sweet and doesn't pressure me into doing stuff (I kept refusing to to do the bong, while his drunk roomate insisted, and he reassured me that I didn't have to do it if I didn't want to), which is really nice, but all the while I was thinking about this one girl who I have a major crush on.

I don't know why I kept thinking about her while I was with him, because I *do* like him, but none of it felt right, though. I know it's not fair to him that my mind's elsewhere, but I just couldn't help it... I'll be 23 late May, and I'm bi.

I know I prefer women to men--that's already been established, but I still like some men, including this guy, so I am at a total loss as to why it felt so wrong...

Again, we did not have sex--I am still a virgin (a rarity, I know).

You like this boy,but you like the girl even more. Its really that simple.I think that you were thinking about that girl while making out with the boy because you werent really that interested in the kiss with the boy,and you wouldve rather been kissing the girl.Right?

Well, it's hard to say but, you do like him, and he likes you. Does the girl like you? You wanted to be with the guy, but you also wanted to be with the girl, so it's fine! Relax and let your romance life be great. If the girl wants to be with you, be with the girl. If the guy want to be with you, be with the guy. If they want to be with you on the same night, take turns. Say you hung out with the guy yesterday, hang out with the girl. But, if you're dating one of them, don't think about the other one, just be friends! Good luck and I hope that wasn't too confusing!

You don't have to limit yourself to one gender...do what feels good to you. Just think your romantic prospects arent limited to 50% of the population.....chill out and relax...the world is your oyster

It might be that you "like" him alot but you might not "like" him enough, my advice would be to see how compatible you are with the girl and see if it feels more right with her or vice versa, that should tell you!!!

maybe it had nothing to do with the guys sex/gender... maybe it was just the guy or the circumstances.

Well i think you thought about her while you were with him because maybe your feelings are stronger for her, than they are for him?

I fail to see the problem here. You like her sexually more than you like him.
