the windows in my 2000 pontiac montana stop going up. I can't close the windows, any help? I can put the window DOWN but they won't go back up.

It will sometimes take more force to raise the window than to lower it,which means that they may be becoming difficult to operate smoothly and need lubrication.Spray WD40 into the guides as best you can from the openings on top and try to work them up and down.If that doesn't work, someone will need to dig into it deeper by removing the trim panels and visually checking the operation and electrical aspect. Good luck

the regulator is broken and needs replacing. The motor could also have stripped gears.
