I think that to be considered a real band, you have to sound good live in person and on a studio record. If when you perform live or on tv, you sound nothing like you do on the record, then you aren't really as good because it shows that you need all that studio equipment and enhancing to sound good.
Just my opinion, and i was wondering what you all thought. thanks

i totally agree. to be a good artist you can't just sound good on a record. you have to be a good performer and sound even better than you did on the record(like the Fray)

You are absolutely right. The bands that people I know listen to honostly show no talent in a live concert. What ever happend to bands that sounded awesome live like AC/DC, Metallica, Guns and Roses, and the Sex Pistols. Todays generation of bands just aren't the same.

I agree, how can people call themselves great musicians when they can't play? My favorite band is Rush, they are great live, I have seen them live and own all there live DVDs and they realy can play :)
