If cold front moves over a place, cloud systems precede the front.Heavy rain or snow, thunder storms, severe turbulance , line-squalls and heavy icing may occur.
If a warm front moves over a place ,only stratiform clouds form.In case the ascending warm air is conditionally unstable, scattered cumulonimbus and altocumulus clouds may develop accompanied by rainfall sometimes.

IF there's a Warm Front, then the weather could vary. If it's winter and cold, then heavy rainfall. If it's winter and unstable, then thunderstorm with heavy rainfall. If it's any other time of the year and unstable, then thunderstorms that could be severe. If it's any other time during the year and stable, then nadda. The temps will likely get hotter and the air will get moister depending on which direction the wind is blowing.
If there's a cold front, then the weather could vary. Likely will be windy ahead of it all year round. If it's winter and unstable, then thunderstorms that will produce heavy rainfall. If it's winter and cool, then heavy rainfall. IFit's any other time of the year and unstable, then thunderstorms that could be severe. If it's anytime other time of the year and stable, then nadda. the temperature will be mild ahead of it during the winter beofre colder, direr air moves in behind it. during the summer, the air ahead of it will be hot (and/or moist depending) and drier, milder air behind te front if it makes it all the way through.

First of all that would be called a stationary front.
Second, there would likely be some precipation, the pressure would be droping because of the low pressure system on the front. The temperature depends on the time of the year, and after the front left, on which way the certain front was heading. To say whether it would be cooler or warmer.
I hope that was helpful! 8^)

there are many other factors which determine what the weather would be like, You may not even notice the passage of the fronts or there could be a severe weather outbreak.
