wiper delay malfunction?

Question

during ice storm, regular wiper works, put on delay...stops dead. is there anything in the wiper area that could have got messed up from ice/snow, or is it a co-incedence? how is this fixed? thank u..........

Shootin' from the hip…
Either the switch or the motor unit has failed.
There is nothing that rain, ice, or snow would have done to cause a failure.
Without actually putting hands on the car, that is about all I can tell you.
