Bad washers of dishes are usually those that want to get it over with as quickly as possible and do not want to put the slightest effort into it. There are the dip and swill washers, the rinse and wipe with a cloth washers and there are the rinse, brush scrub and wash off dish washers. In these three categories are the cold water washers that do not want to use up their hot water because of the cost of gas etc. There are the luke warm washers that cannot stand the water too hot on their hands and there are the leave to soak in hot water type that then do the scrub with a brush etc as above.
When all the crocs are washed by hand the last operation should be to rinse them in hot running water. Finally and this is perhaps almost the most important point, damp tea towels for drying harbour more germs and bacteria than you ever thought possible. Crocs should be left to air dry without the use of a cloth before being stacked and put away.

It could be several things. It could either be their in too much of a hurry to get the dish washed, or they literally dont see the food left on the dish. There is a man I work with that is legally blind. He has to wash the dishes, I usually have to rewash anything he has already washed because he could not see to get it cleaned in the first place. So I wouldnt chalk it all up to being lazy.

Most people use a dishwasher to wash the dishes and when they get them out to put them up they sometimes overlook a spot on a dish. No great crime.

my wife is a prime example of this, I normally see to the
washing up but on the odd occasion she does it results in me having wash most things again. I have thought of buying her a dishwasher, but why should I keep her in luxury. There is nothing more effective for burnt on food than a splash of Fairy and a good rub with a scourer. As to the reason she is lacking in this dept., I put it down to her being afraid of damaging her manicure

At home, don't know. Probably just not concerned.
When eating out, sometimes is because the dishwashers have piles and piles of dishes and sometimes miss one or two. And sometimes is because the dishwasher doesn't care because has piles and piles of dishes and is getting paid so little.

1) They were never taught properly by their parents, or worse, maybe their parents don't know any better.
2) They never REALLY paid attention when taught.
3) There's a problem with their gene pool. Or chemical recreation has consumed too much gray matter.
4) Just plain lazy. Hoping someone else will do it for them.
