I have seriously 12 scars on my legs. I went the other day to buy scar removal lotion, but it costs too much for me to buy constantly for my legs. I was wondering if anyone knew a home remedy or something to help me with this issue.

Mederma is fairly cheap it helps reduce the appearance of scars.

You could also exfoliate, moisturize, and self tan.

Vitamin E oil helps reduce the look of scars. I've used it before and it helps quite a bit because I scar very seriously ( I have a very serious scarring condition). When I used it my scar reduced the appearance quite a bit even though it's still noticeable on me most normal people don't have the scarring conditions like I have and their scars go almost completely away.

I have about an 8-10 inch incision down my spine, another 4 inch one on my hip, and 4 incisions on my knees. It's not that big of a deal really. You just learn that they aren't that bad, and to not let them bother you. I have tons of people ask me about the scars on my back and I've gotten used to it and they all feel really bad after they ask and know what I've been through to get all of them little loan how many times they've been cut open, and then they realize how young I am. There's now way of completely getting rid of them, but lightening them can help improve how you feel. Vitamin E oil has helped me the most.

A lot of the scars will diminish in time. Wear clothes to cover most of them or all of them until they get better. Most scars will lighten up a great deal. If you don't draw attention to them, nobody will even notice. You don't have to go around bare legged, do you? There are millions of people who have scars worse than yours all over their body's. That doesn't have anything to do with who you are. Don't let it ruin your personality. What about people who have scars on their face? Some of them even get so they blend in. It certainly isn't the end of the world. And no reason to stop doing the things that you've always done. Get it out of your mind and they will go away before you know it. Dwelling is not good therapy.

I am a man and would naturaly feel differently about scars but they are not all that disfiguring. I could better relate if your face or hands were scared. My wife has some horrible scars on her legs resulting from surgery after a bad car wreck and she is a beautiful lady anyway, cheer up!!

Cocoa butter. Put it on on a regular basis. every morning and night and anytime you need more. This is not immediate, but it does work. Also u can try skin bleach cream, it should cost less than scar removal treatments.
