How do you get to the rainbow tower and activate the question mark boxes? People are telling me to go to the part of the castle where the light is and press the Y button, but everytime I do that all I do is walk. Can anyone help?

Yes. Step 1, Go to the sunshine tattoo on the floor when you first walk into the castle. Step 2 : press 'Y' and make sure the camera is straight behind Mario (or any other character). Pressing the Y button will do 3 things: 1. Zoom out, 2. Zoom in, and 3. Go back to normal. You need to zoom in, then look up. Mario will warp.

Pressing the Y changes the mode so that you can free look. Simply look at the light. Go towards the light...go towards the light...
