With my son I drank milk but not as much as I should have. And now when u pick him up his bones feel like they r poping. Did anyone not drink milk throught their pregnancy? I am almost 5 months pregnant now and again i've drank some milk should I start drinking it throughout the remaining of this pregnancy?

bones actually dont "pop" its the nitrogen getting forced out /compressed in your joints that makes the pop or cracking noise..like when you crack your knuckles.
Babies use calcium from what you produce when pregnant, if you dont have enough from a healthy diet ,calcium is then depleted from your bones etc leading to you having brittle bones, though rare to get brittle bones from 1 or 2 pregnancies unless you are in a third world country? so your kids will be healthier than you while in utero.
Calcium supplements cant hurt though and can help with absorbtion of other vitamins/minerals.

Drinking milk has nothing to do with whether your child will come out with fragile bones or not...The calcium and vitamin D u need for your babys bone development is in your prenatal vitamins,so as long as u took them during your pregnancy I dont think your sons bone "popping" has anything to do with your calcium and Vitamin D intake.
With my first born I didnt drink hardly any milk and my daughter is perfectly fine...Good Luck!!

I didnt drink as much milk with my last one as I did with my other 2. I think if you can drink milk, you should. If you are concerned with his bones ask his dr. about your concernes next time he has an appt. Milk is always good for you and the baby. My 1st one doesnt like reg milk, so I always give her strawberry milk. Works a lot better

I doubt that your not drinking milk is to blame for his bones popping- what has your doctor said about this?
He would have gotten all the calcium he needed from you anyway, so whatever small amounts you ingested would have gone straight to him.

If you will feel better about drinking milk, do it.

I wasn't a huge milk drinker, although I tried to have one glass a day- but I disguised the taste with Nesquick powders, whilst pregnant.

I don't think that lack of drinking milk during your 1st preg. would have anything to do with your son's bones. I do know that in breastfed babies they don't get as much vit. d as a formula fed baby. A deficiency of Vit. D could lead to rickets(weakening or softening of the bones), but if you're son has been getting some sun on a regular basis, I wouldn't worry too much. If you're worried about him, though, you should take him to the doc. I wouldn't worry about babe #2. I'm sure that he or she will be fine as long as you're taking care of yourself and eating somewhat healthy.

I didn't drink milk when I was pregnant with my 2 year old and she never had that problem. I get really lactose intolerant when I'm pregnant, so milk isn't even on the menu for me.

yes!!! milk is one of the best things you can put in your body!! not only does it help make your bones stronger, it helps your skin stay smoother (yeppers, no wrinkles!) if you haven't started drinking it, I suggest you grab a 4 litre on your way home and have a glass or two after dinner.

No i believe it extremely is a delusion, as well the longer it takes your infant's teeth to come back in the better they are going to be, so that you want them to come back in later somewhat than faster, yet no longer too previous due.
