or if they closed already? Im 16 and 5'10 ive hit one growth spurt and my dad grew after highschool and he is 6'0 will i grow somemore?

yes, it can be x rayed, and probably you'll keep growing until around 19, usually because the changes of activity during teen years makes you grow a bit faster, so don't worry if u want u can ask an orthopedist about it, he'll ask for x ray if he needs to see them, but if everything's ok, do'n pay extra money for useless x ray... remember x ray work with ionizing radiations and u seriously do not want to over expose to x ray ok? ask an orthopedist if you're worried but it's normal in boys to grow till 19 and girls till around 17.

In theory, yes, but in reality, they will not do an x-ray unless necessary for some other condition.
I had to get an x-ray done for some other reason, and they told me that I still had a little bit of growing to do one time, and the last time I had an x-ray, he said I was done.

haha i'm 5'9 and 14 and that i hate being tall because of the fact maximum adult males are to short lol! Your in elementary terms 19 and adult males do no longer supply up becoming till 21 so sure your nonetheless becoming you won't boost lots yet your becoming

they can, but usually there has to be a reason to do so, and not just curiousity.
