I was at walmart today and a black guy called me a stupid cracker so i slammed him with my shopping cart into the shelf!do you think my actions were to harsh? I am now banned from walmart because of this racist man and he is the one who was the racist!!

You took a bad moment and made it worse. You have now reinforced the idea that white people are stupid crackers. There are less agressive way to approach that. For example, look him in the eye and ask him to repeat what he just said. Either he won't which makes hm look like a coward or he he will and then I would calmy ask why he said that.

You acted unreasonably but usually if a white person calls another race a bad name they can get in big trouble. When some other race makes fun of a white person nothing usually happens to them. Nobody cares about white people's feelings!

Yes, your actions were too harsh. And just for conversations sake how many times in your whole life have you been called "cracker"? I think you could have laughed it off or just cussed in your mind without assaulting someone.

You chose the response you would have to his words, and it was a poor response. When someone offends you, do you always react so violently. That could be a whole different issue.

Well, I think reacting violently to anything, tends to get you banned.

You could have just ignored his comment. By slamming him with your shopping cart you have committed assault and can be charged with such.
