Im trying to find a film. Half of it is of the band playing, and it has a lot of volcanoes and lava in the film. One member says "its the floyd of course" and one of the songs in it is about the albatross. does anybody know the name of this film?

It's called Live at Pompeii. It's basically the band playing to an empty roman theatre. It's a great film and it is on DVD. There is also an extended directors cut of this film on the same DVD, but it's not very good. The albatross song you refer to is Echoes. This is a huge 23 minute slab of classic floyd and in the film it is played in two parts...one part as the opener and one as the closer. Happy viewing :)

I just bought Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii.....I think that is what you are thinking about.

It's really great...if you haven't got it, you need to! It's funny also, because you get to see sort of "interviews" with the band mates. Not really interviews, but just random clips.
