How do you mean 'caught'; got one stuck in my hair or someone calling at the door while I was wearing the curlers? First no, but had some hairpins tangle when I forgot to remove them one night. Second, well I don't use curlers (just a curling iron sometimes) but I wouldn't care if I did, anyone calling at the door can just 'catch' me with my hair any way it happens to be at the time, combed or not, curled or not, or in the process of being curled. Big deal.

Not in curlers, but I was in a hot brush. I haven't used one since.
