I wouldn't say the best basketball city, but it has the most basketball players. Places like Chicago and Detroit are great, but do to weather and stuff, it really isn't a number 1 choice. Plus there are more oppurtunitys in California

The weather and a talent pool of five million and counting.
LA could rule all the sports, if half of them weren't on drugs or so spoiled.
That's why the Midwest is still best.

cuz LA is 1 of the richest cities in the world so they can pump alot of $$ into their teams. just think of the yankees in NY. its the same thing

Resources and more resources available to us LA area people that can develop young talent and put them out there.
