Clock speed, the OC is running a faster core clock, it goes a bit faster, though there's more to the performance than just the core speed so it doesn't run quite as fast as the clock speed difference might make you hope. Data I/O isn't improved.

Its clocked a bit faster, nothing you couldn't do manually with coobits or rivatuner.
