13 is fine. Hopefully the kids are younger But not babies?

My son babysits two kids in the neighborhood he's 13. They are 8 and 10 and nice boys. It's a 3 hour gig once a week and he's made $20 a pop. He's saved all of it -

I suggest the cpr or babysitting course at the Y many young moms would love that idea. :)

The age all matters on your maturity and how much the parents of the children trust you. Win over the kids and the parents and your set. I'd reccomend starting out with older kids to babysit around 6+ and then once you feel comfotable try babysitting ofr younger ones.

Also, try taking a CPR course at your local YMCA because thats always good to put the parents at ease. Best of luck!

On the other hand if your looking to make some extra cash on the side as a teen. Check out my website:

Have you taken a baby sitting course? Do you know what to do and not to do in emergencies? Were you trained to NEVER shake a baby or child?
13 - at the least.
