I absolutely LOVE "Taxi Driver." At the time, it was quite shocking. Unfortunately, it now seems to be predicting the future. Travis Bickel's were rare back in 1976; now we know there are a lot of them out there. Great, great film.

Ever since Hinckley started stalking Jodie Foster over this film and, ultimately, tried to shoot the President to impress her, I don't think anyone really wants to admit liking the film and, thus, being a little like that obsessive nutcase.
