Research embalming techniques, the apperance of the mummies, the locations where they put the mummies, and the reasons for mummification.
I'm sure you'll find lots of differences between Egyptain mummies and Aztec mummies if you research those specific things for each.

The Aztecs are in South America, and the Egyptians are in the Middle East.

The Aztecs didn't mummify their dead.
There are mummies in Peru, but they aren't Aztec. The Aztecs were in Central America only (present-day Mexico).
