I have a photo programme called Microsoft Picture It! and I can do all sorts of stuff to change my photos, there was a basic one that came with my scanner too, that's good too.

I've evened out skin tone, rubbed off wrinkles/spots, removed scratches, etc. You just need practise.

Alternatively you could take you exisiting pic to a professional photo shop and have them mess with it for you but it would probably cost about the same.

When someone takes my photo, I always try to be lower than the camera, this hides my double chin very nicely. x

You need to get some good photo software like photoshop to edit your picture. You can than lasso the neck to adjust shading and thinness.

lean forward for the picture, it will give the illusion of a longer thinner neck. don't lean so far forward that you look like your falling though... just a little.
