I want to replace all my Hollister & Abercrombie clothes with clothes from Delias, Forever 21, Wet Seal, etc. They're stuff is soo much more original. I am rich so I could just give away all my current clothes & buy new ones. I know it's weird, but I feel weird not wearing those brand name clothes because I feel.. poor. I'm not trying to be offensive, but I just do. If I start wearing like Forever 21 & stuff, I feel like I'll no longer be considered rich, preppy, hot, etc. What do you think?

The clothes you wear only go so far as to what your image is. Personality has a lot to do with how people protray you. People with little money tend to try and wear name brands with shirts that say ABERCROMBIE and such. Truly "rich" people don't wear shirts that say CHANEL across the front. It says Chanel on the tag.
The tag is hidden.

Ha ha. I'm kinda rich too. I love all the clothes they have at those stores. They're wicked cheap and stuff too. I probably would feel poor if all I wore was from the clearance racks at Forever 21, Delias, etc. but I mix it with D&G, Juicy, Abercrombie, etc. Plus some clearance stuff is actually really cute. It's not a bad thing to be poor or wear cheap clothes (I say offensive stuff ALL the time and don't realize it until like two weeks later and the person's not talking to me). If you still wanna be considered rich/preppy then try adding fancy purses and jewelry to what you wear (I LOVE Louis Vuitton they have the best purses. Tiffany's has nice jewelry). Plus it doesn't really matter where you get your clothes from as long as you like how it looks.

I think you can still wear your other stuff and give it little updates. if you have a hollister shirt pair it with something from wet seal or something. You don't have to get rid of everything. Just incorporate your new stuff with your old stuff and you'll feel better about it. And if you choose to... gradually you will feel better about only wearing forever 21 and stuff like that, and you won't have the other feeling anymore. Just combine the two and make it work!

Uhm hollister and abercrombie are no longer preppy in any respect. Theyr only girly. Preppy is sperrys and ralph lauren. Your freind doesnt comprehend the which ability of preppy. i dont think of your a prep. And preppy isnt quite a number of makeup with fake hair. heavily. thats in basic terms a faux person. that's no longer prep!! like in any respect!!

first off buying Abercrombie, and Hollister does not make you rich. The people that shop there wish that they were rich and settle for less. The quality is lacking, the prices are low, and the clothes are ugly.
Second off, Abercrombie and Hollister are in NO way preppy. Ripped clothing isn't preppy one bit, faded isn't preppy, bleached isn't preppy.
you should change clothes b/c currently you wish that you were rich, preppy, and hot. so maybe you should change to your own style instead of being a wanabe.

good for you! i think its ok for people to wear hollister if there not all "HOLLISTER!!!!!!!!!" about it but if they are then, UGH. and you said what if you no longer are considered preppy, id take that as a compliment. anyway its not about the brand you wear its about how it looks on you, if it looks good people will still think your pretty, and besides clothes aren`t what lifes all about, just go with what you like and dont worry what other people will think of you.

i think u shouldent care if u'll look preppy and hot. If u like forever21 and stuff, u should wear it. If u still want to look rich, then wear what you like with some jewelry, cute shoes, and other expensive stuff. I hope i can help

okay you shouldn't care what other people think, its not the brand name that counts its the orginailty and how you feel wearing the clothes. so i think you should be new, and not wear what you want.

wear what you like and do it for the way it looks, not the label or where you bought it. if you want to get cash for the stuff you bought from hollister ect, then if you have it...go to platos closet. they'll give you money for what you bring to them and other people can buy it way cheaper then from the stores you got it at.

Well how big is your closet? Get some new stuff from delias(luv it!!), Forever 21(cute), and Wet Seal and put it on one side of your closet. Then put your HCO and A&F stuff on the other side.
