Which means the last 62 years have seen nothing but wars that had NOTHING to do with defending America.

Next time someone tells you that "you can thank a veteran for your freedom", tell them "yeah, a world war 2 veteran!"

Nick, I couldn't agree more, and I respect anyone who agrees to serve the public in any capacity.

However, the fact is that offensive wars are not protecting my freedom.

Ree Ree, I appreciate your husband's service, but we didn't have Iraqi IEDs and car bombs going off here before Bush attacked Iraq, and we won't have them after the war either.

I do believe you are correct in all aspects! Every war since then has been all for naught.

The only other wars in our best interest were the American Revolution and the Civil War.

The current War on Terror is about protecting America and the West from the Islamo fascists. Under a proper Islamic regime, there will be no free speech, womens rights, civil rights religious freedoms, Everything the libs claim to stand for will be gone.

LISTEN!! My husband is fighting to KEEP your Freedom!!! If he dosent help fight the war in Iraq then you would have IEDs and car bombs going off here in the states. I am sick and tired of people NOT supporting our soldiers!!! All everyone sees is what the freaking media shows. How about all the good things that our soldiers have accomplished?? Like new schools, hospitals, liberation, etc. Instead of going off of what you see in the news how about ya talk to a soldier who has been there. Yes we might always agree with what our president does, but we have men and women giving their lives to make a better place. Can we just support them??

All the wars have had something to do with defending America, maybe some are defending American opinions. Sure I don't agree with the war, but our veterans from every war are very important and they stood up to fight when no one else wants to. Veterans need our support and we need to help them when they come back to our country. Be proud of our veterans.

No. We are fighting that war now. If you would prefer that we fight it here so that you can see the proof, just put a democrat in the white house next year. Once our country starts blowing up on a dailey basis you will be walking around saying "damn, can't we get Bush and his Iraq war back?"
