Um... i dont really know. The last time i tried to stand up for myself in school... i got a call home. It wasnt good. Meaning some teachers you're going to have to face what you have. Or convince your parents to move you to a different class (that wont work that well but still, it's better than nothing).

I work in an elementary school and teach the 2nd grade, so I have experience when it comes to a topic like this. I read over your statement completely, twice actually, just to make sure I fully understood it. I am going to tell you the truth, you may not like it, but your teacher did nothing wrong. You stated that you and your friends are talkative. She is hoping to prevent a problem. I know I run my classes based on my schooling experience. I was a "social butterfly" during my youth, that word written on many progress reports. Also, she is young, she may not be very comfortable/confident in the classroom, and it takes time. And if she is brand new, she may be trying to establish herself. No teacher wants to hear that his or her class runs the day. The only matter I think you ladies have a true stand about is the special boy. I am all for integrating classes and I know how it goes as a teacher, so it’s not a stand because he is special, but a stand because he is sexual with your friend. School is a time for learning; no one should be uncomfortable like that. But again, this circumstance needs to be concrete. If you ladies are just saying it in hopes to get him moved, then that’s wrong, these claims must be accurate. I am not saying you are lying, I am saying that I have been in a position where children will tell you anything under the sun to get their way. So my best suggestion to you is to mind your p's and q's and show her that you and your friends can be in class without disrupting her and your fellow classmates. Be a shining example. She’ll give you more respect. She feels like you ladies are testing her now; let her know that she is the teacher. Be the best you can be and tell your friends the same. She will notice. Your efforts will not be in vain. In addition to being your best, talk to your teacher about the boy. Don’t approach her with an automatic attitude, give her a clean slate. Tell her how you feel, but know that the decision is hers and whatever it may be. You have to accept for the most part. If he really starts harassing you and your friends after you talk to your teacher, then and only then, you go to the principal. Going over her head before the talk will just make her mad and you ladies will never ever sit together. I know this is a lot and long, but I hope it all helps. Best of luck.

Schools Almost Over, So Stick It Out. If That Doesn't Help And It Seems That She Is Just Picking On You, Maybe You Need To Have A Teacher-Parent-Student Conference With Her. Otherwise I Wouldn't Let Her Get To Me, You'll Have Other Teachers Mean And Nice. You Can't Pick And Choose You're Teachers. Well, Not Until You Get Older Anyway.

Get a life.
Get over yourself.
Get through puberty.
Your teacher's actions seem completely reasonable, consider yourself fortunate to have a mentally challenged classmate in your group, it gives you a real chance to show what a decent person you have the potential to be.
You admitted yourself that you were talking in your group and your teacher needs to remove distractions to help you learn. As for sexual attraction, that will be with you until you graduate from high school at least, and there are nice ways to deal with these problems.
Good Luck

wow. i dont know what to say. 5th grade was an alright year for me. well i guess you should show that you are going to respect her and be responsible. all i can say is that life is hard and the teachers are mean and when youll grow up, chances are that your bosses or people that you work with might be mean to you too. thats just life. the only way you can probably get on her good side is to change your attitude and maybe she will be nicer. good luck. =)

It is school. School is not a democracy where the students get to vote on what they want. The teacher makes the decisions. If you can't deal with that, then you will have problems throughout school and on into the real world.

Sounds like you have the bad attitude, you need to realize you are there to learn and socialize on lunch and recess, it's her responsibility to make sure you do.
So start worrying more about studying, and quit acting like a spoiled little brat............Love Your Teacher

You have how long in that classroom? Two and a half months, maybe? That's not very long, and after it's done, do you ever have to see or even think about this person ever again?
Forget it, it's not worth bugging over.

Sounds to me like you're just a spoiled little brat who doesn't like to be told what to do and disrespects anyone who tries to..
and your teacher is right, you do have the "'tude".
my advice, grow up and deal with the real world.

Believe me, you'll get teachers a LOT worse than that once you get into high school and especially collage. The only thing you can do is suck up to them and fantasize about punching them in the face.
