It is acceptable to love your Country, and as a whole we all make mistakes, because we are Human. I just feel as though a lot of us are fed up with the lies, the cover ups, and all the back door dealings that are going on. I do not know what we need, or what we do not need, but I know that we have to follow our gut and protect ourselves, but I just feel like the American people, myself included are being told what we are going to do, and not asked. I also feel as though every other country wants us to follow all of the rules of the game, and then apologize if those rules are then changed and we are caught with too many men on the field. I know I am babbling, but I just for once would like a politician to say that the United States matters More to us as Americans, than say Darfur or Iraq or Bosnia, or any of the other areas. I like the idea of isolationism until we can sort our own problems out. Then we should get back in the global game. Take care of the home front first, then deal with the outside world. We are just spreading ourselves too thin too fast. We are a great country, but we do have some limitations on how fast we can do things. Also, how do you make people do something that they do not want to do?

I take offense when people say Liberals hate our country, stop dividing our country and find ways that Democrats and Republicans can make this the best nation it can be. I think that most Americans love America but some are tierd of how it is being run at the moment. I don't think it's a fashionable thing to hate America and I don't think there are a huge group of Americans that actually hate America.

Yes, it's very acceptable to love America. But be warned that doing so can draw attention to you and will be clumped together with right wingers. Liberals and Dems look down on this. But I have this to say, if you don't like your surroundings, get the hell outa here.

yes, regardless of what cons say.....i am a far left...and i LOVE AMERICA....of course some cons can't comprehend someone of opposite beliefs loving America....just because we disagree with the current administration and the war doesn't mean we hate the country.....
i am proud of our country however i am not proud of our president or his dealings in foreign affairs...
some young people think it is cool to hate America because it is their way of rebelling against "the man"...i don't think it's right, if you don't like this country then get out.

I think peoples' hatred for Bush has hardened their hearts. I think they would find the grass isn't anywhere near as green anywhere else...
