The one that makes me crazy is this one: ""Domestic Engineer"

"Domestic Engineer" = Stay at home mom

See, it's soooo 1950's to be a stay at home mom, so the women who don't want to have careers don't want to be called stay at home mom's because no one respects them anymore. So they think if you call them "Domestic Engineers" it sounds like they have these really impressive jobs. Ugh, I'm so sick of all this political correctness! Why can't everyone just develope a thick skin, so we can go back to the days when we didn't have to be so careful. Gawd, every time I open my mouth I end up offending someone new - someone I didn't know was offended to be called a "secretary" (it's Executive Assistant now) - back when I worked in Corporate America - you were a secretary until you were PROMOTED to "Executive Assitant". Now, these 20 year old, entry level secretaries expect to have the same title as someone with 15-20 years of extra experience? Crazy world.

Some of these titles don't even make sense: "African American" - I think that's more offensive than calling someone "black" because you are assuming that "all black people come from Africa". What if the person you call "African American" is actually from Jamaica? Or Trinidad? Or the Middle East? Should we now start to call white people "European Americans"?

Even the deceased aren't safe from political correctness. It is now considered offensive to call someone who has died, "dead". Now you have to reffer to them as "passed away" or "crossed over". Geesh! Where does it end?!

I think it's time to just start calling people what they are - not by these crazy new "PC" titles.

Surely the prime example of that, recently, is the Kirklees Council proposing to cancel the primary school's production of the Three Little Pigs for fear of offending the Muslim community!!!

Thankfully, the Council decided against it and allowed the production to go ahead, ditching what would have been the first ever performance of the Three Little Puppies...!!!
