does anyone know the real meaning to the song 'greener with the scenery'?

everyone on song meanings.net all have different opinions on what it means, just like every other song on there. its one of my favourite songs, id like to know what it really means...any help?

I love that song, but I'm not quite sure what the original meaning of the song is. But of course the most important meaning is what it means to you.

The lyrics make it look like it's about a difficult relationship where the two keep going 'around again in circles' with their struggles... hope that helps.
